Save the date, September 23, 2026, for the next Amigos Library Services topical online conference, The Flexible Library. This online conference will include a keynote and a diverse selection of concurrent sessions for learners. Registration opening soon, and - as always - registration will be free for members.
The Amigos Continuing Education summer schedule is now available, offering members a valuable opportunity to take advantage of one of their key benefits. For members, all courses are free for everyone at their institution, including administrators, librarians, staff, volunteers, and student employees.
Amigos Continuing Education appreciates everyone who took the time to share feedback on courses they would like to see return to the schedule. That input plays an important role in shaping future offerings, and several requested topics are already being added back into upcoming sessions.
Amigos is pleased to recognize the newest recipients of the Electronic Resource Management Micro-Credential. These learners completed all required coursework and a capstone project, demonstrating strong commitment to advancing their skills in managing electronic resources.
This past year's change to make Amigos' continuing education opportunities free to member libraries has resulted in a significant increase in registrations. However, this has also led to an uptick in duplicate registrations for the same course.
